Teachers from across the country can take advantage of Missouri S&T's Summer Training Institute for their PLTW courses.

This year five courses will be offered during one 10-day session July 6-18, 2008, on the Missouri S&T campus. They are:

Gateway To Technology middle school curriculum (GTT)    For an description of the program, click Here
Introduction to Engineering Design (IED)
Digital Electronics (DE)
Principles of Engineering (POE)
Civil Engineering and Architecture (CEA)

PLTW also offers teachers asynchronous professional development through its Virtual Academy. Access to the training is through the registered teachers page at http://www.pltw.org/cgi-bin/trainsignup.asp.

 

REGISTRATION FOR TEACHER TRAININGis now available through the national Project Lead The Way registration page online: http://www.pltw.org/cgi-bin/trainsignup.asp. Once teachers are registered with PLTW, this information will be forwarded to Missouri S&T and an STI packet of information will be sent to the teacher.
