Teachers from across the country can take advantage of Missouri S&T's Summer Training Institute for their PLTW courses.  This year six courses will be offered during one 10-day session July 6-17, 2009, on the Missouri S&T campus. They are:
        -Civil Engineering and Architecture (CEA)
        -Digital Electronics (DE)
        -Engineering Design and Development  (EDD)
        -Gateway To Technology middle school curriculum (GTT)

July 19-31, 2009, Biomedical Human Body Systems will be offered during one ten-day session on the Missouri S&T campus.  Registration cost is $2,200, which include lunches and two evening banquets, a shirt, and course materials.  Housing cost will be approximately $750.  Please refer to the “Biomed Lodging” link below to book your reservation.

PLTW also offers teachers asynchronous professional development through its Virtual Academy. Access to the training is through the registered teachers page at http://extranet.pltw.org/teachers/
